Take your knowledge of EnCase digital examinations to the next level. Join the ranks of EnCase Certified Examiners.

The EnCE certification has become the Gold standard for digital forensic examiners and investigators. The EnCE allows you demonstrate your skills and knowledge and maximize your use of EnCase Forensics.

The EnCE certification is a highly sought-after accreditation, which requires significant knowledge of computer forensics and Guidance Software’s EnCase® product to successfully achieve.

The two-phase testing process is based upon a written examination and also the completion of a thorough practical scenario examination and preparation of an investigative report. The certification is based upon the practical computer forensic skills and knowledge presented in Guidance Software’s Computer Forensic I and Computer Forensic II courses.

The EnCE Prep course is NOT intended to be a replacement for these two classes. Instead it is a thorough but accelerated review of the subjects covered in those courses. Student’s cannot waive or substitute the prerequisite attendance of Guidance Software’s Computer Forensics II course when applying to attend the EnCE Preparation course.

The EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE) program certifies both public and private sector professionals in the use of Guidance Software's EnCase computer forensic software. EnCE certification acknowledges that professionals have mastered computer investigation methodology as well as the use of EnCase during complex computer examinations. Recognized by both the law enforcement and corporate communities as a symbol of in-depth computer forensics knowledge, EnCE certification illustrates that an investigator is a skilled computer examiner.
