Forensic Cables
IDE Signal Cable
The Tableau TC6-8 is a high-quality, 80-conductor IDE cable with one 40-pin IDE connector at each end. The TC6-8 is 8 inches long and incorporates strain reliefs and pull-tabs at each end, making it rugged enough for hundreds or even thousands of forensic examinations.
SATA Signal Cable
The Tableau TC3-8 is a standard, 8 inch SATA signal cable for use with the Tableau T3u Forensic SATA Bridge and T345 Combination Bridge.
SCSI Signal Cable
The Tableau TC10-8 is a high-quality, 68-conductor SCSI cable with standard high-density 68-pin (hd68) SCSI connectors at each end. The TC10-8 is 8 inches long and incorporates strain reliefs and pull-tabs at each end, making it rugged enough for hundreds or even thousands of forensic examinations.
Molex-style Power
The TC2-8 is an eight inch power cable with 4-pin female "Molex"-style power connectors at each end. The TC2-8 is intended to conduct power from a Tableau T3u, T4, T5, or T345 forensic bridge to a subject hard disk.
SATA-style power
The TC5-8 is an eight inch power cable with a 4-pin female "Molex"-style power connector at one end and a 15-pin SATA-style power connector at the other end. The TC5-8 is intended to conduct power from a Tableau T3u or T345 forensic bridge to a subject SATA hard disk.
Y-Cable for Pocket Bridges
The TC1 is a "Y" cable which is used to provide power from a Tableau TP1 power supply to a T14, T14-RW, or T15 Forensic Bridge. The TC1 has a female 5-pin DIN connector at one end which mates to the output connector on the TP1 power supply. The TC1 has one 4-pin "Molex"-style power connector to power a hard disk and one 4-pin "floppy"-style power connector to power a T14, T14-RW, or T15.
Y-Cable for T2 Power Switch
The TC17 is a "Y" cable which is used to provide power from a Tableau T2 Power Switch to a T14, T14-RW, or T15 Forensic Bridge. The TC17 has a female 4-pin "Molex"-style connector at one end which mates to the output connector on the T2 Power Switch. The TC17 has a second 4-pin "Molex"-style power connector to power a hard disk and one 4-pin "floppy"-style power connector to power a T14, T14-RW, or T15.
6p-6p FireWire400 Cable
As a convenience to our resellers, Tableau manufactures a line of high-quality FireWire cables and cable adapters. The TC7-6-6 is a 6 foot, 6p-6p FireWire400 cable. This cable is most often used with the Tableau T8 Forensic USB Bridge.
9p-9p FireWire800 Cable
As a convenience to our resellers, Tableau manufactures a line of high-quality FireWire cables and cable adapters. The TC7-9-9 is a 6 foot, 9p-9p FireWire800 cable. This is the FireWire cable most often used in conjunction with Tableau Forensic Bridges. Tableau also manufactures two cable adapters, one 6p-9p and one 4p-9p, which can be used to adapt the TC7-9-9 cable to work with 6-pin and 4-pin FireWire ports.
USB 2.0 Cable
As a convenience to our resellers, Tableau manufactures a high-quality USB 2.0 cable for use with Tableau forensic bridges which support USB. Called the TC8, this cable is 6 feet long, with a USB-A connector at the "host" end a "mini" USB-B (5-pin) connector at the "device" end. All Tableau forensic bridges which support USB use the same 5-pin "mini" USB-B connector, and the TC8 is compatible with this connector.
